The surroundings we live in is called environment. The main elements of the environment are the air, water, soil, plants, human etc. All elements of the environment are enter-related. Pollution means getting the environment affected negatively and harmfully. When any element of the environment is polluted is called the environment pollution. Air is polluted mainly by smoke created by mills and factories, brick fields and vehicles. People cut down trees indiscriminately and make fire to cook food which creates smoke and pollutes the air. Water, another vital element of the environment can be contaminated in many ways. Using chemical fertilizers and pesticides, discharging industrial wastage we pollute the environment. Various types of water vehicles pollute water by dumping food waste, human waste and burnt oil into rivers and canals. Again, when the vibration of sound seems very harsh and sharp to the ears is simply called sound pollution. Sound is polluted by the horns of different vehicles and microphones. Moreover, the world is producing millions of garbage and there is no suitable place to discharge it. As a result, there creates odor pollution and air pollution as well. For environment pollution different types of fatal diseases and natural disasters breaks out in the world. It also causes global warming that may bring about a serious cause of sufferings for the human beings in the near future. This are a great threat to the human being to survive on earth. Illiteracy, mass unawareness, population explosion, acute poverty etc. are the prime reasons of environment pollution. The environment pollution can be kept under control by creating public awareness, removing illiteracy, planting more trees and ensuring proper wastage management. Govt. and mass media can play a vital role to solve the problem. Finally, if we do not take a sensitive care of the problem, we will fall in great danger in future. So, we have to create a decent and sound pollution free environment to save our own lives.
