Robert Bruce was a famous King of Scotland. He loved his countrymen very much. The people of Scotland also liked him very much. Once the English army evaded his country and occupied his kingdom. Bruce somehow managed to escape and took shelter in a cave. But he did not lose his hope. He thought of reviving his kingdom and fought for the independence of Scotland. One noon, while taking rest Bruce suddenly saw a spider trying to reach the ceiling of the cave. It failed several attempts. But he surprisingly noticed that the spider had not given up hope. It started trying more forcefully after failing once and at last, it was able to reach the ceiling. Robert Bruce was very impressed by seeing the relentless efforts of the tiny creature. The event made him inspired with new hope. He gathered armies and attached the enemies seriously. This time he defeated them completely. In this way, a tiny spider encouraged him to revive his kingdom.
