Earthquake paragraph -hsc,ssc
An earthquake is a sudden and violent shaking of the outer layer of the earth. It is a very dangerous natural calamity as it has no precautionary signaling system. It occurs when the nearby volcanoes emanate lava. Moreover, if there is any geographical fault line, a slight shaking of the earth can cause a great earthquake. In most cases, some gases try to come out of the depth of the earth and cause an earthquake. The result of an earthquake is death and destruction. Bangladesh is lying in an active earthquake zone. There are some geographical fault lines here. However, most of our buildings have not been built by following the building code. If any major earthquake occurs in Bangladesh, there will be a heavy loss of life and properties; most of the cities will be destroyed. So, in order to protect us from the danger of a great earthquake in the future, govt. as early as possible must destroy all the vulnerable buildings. We also must not build any new building avoiding the code. Moreover, govt. must collect necessary earthquake rescuing equipment for our fire-brigades as early as possible. Above all, our people must be conscious of earthquakes. Different mass media should perform a constructive role regarding it.
